My family generates 50,000 pounds of co2 and year. right now we are trying to cut this number in half.
This is my challenge for you. Mesure your co2 footprint at: myfootprint.org then cut your co2 by half this year. Buy energy efficient light bulbs or if you rich get some solar panels!! Alright also one thing we are going to do this month is get rid of all of our chemical household cleaners etc. Care2 has a article on non-toxic cleaners which i will post in this group. also go to earth911.org to find a recycling center near you. refer to this books discussion and buy the books you think you need to start working on this project. anyone who take my challenge leave your name and co2 before and after numbers in the comments!

The more we work toward this goal the better our planet will become!
